DL FIRE 25kg ABC Dry Powder Wheeled Fire Extinguisher
The DL FIRE 25kg ABC Dry Powder Wheeled Fire Extinguisher is a heavy-duty, stored-pressure fire protection unit designed for Class A, B and C fire risks. It features a durable wheeled frame, long flexible discharge hose, pressure gauge, safety mechanism and directional nozzle. Ideal for factories, warehouses, workshops, fuel stations, generator rooms, construction sites and other large commercial or industrial environments.
The DL FIRE 25kg ABC Dry Powder Wheeled Fire Extinguisher is a heavy-duty fire protection unit designed for commercial, industrial and other high-risk environments that require a larger extinguishing capacity. It contains 25kg of multipurpose ABC dry chemical powder and is designed to control several common types of fire during their early and developing stages.
Unlike smaller handheld extinguishers, this unit is mounted on a durable wheeled frame, making it easier to move between different areas of a large facility. Its long flexible discharge hose allows the operator to maintain a practical distance from the fire while directing the extinguishing powder accurately toward its base.
The extinguisher uses a stored-pressure operating system and includes a visible pressure gauge for routine condition monitoring. It is also fitted with a control lever, safety mechanism, reinforced cylinder, transport handle and directional discharge nozzle for controlled operation.
Fire Risk Coverage
The multipurpose ABC dry powder is suitable for:
- Class A fires involving ordinary combustible materials such as wood, paper, textiles, packaging materials and certain plastics
- Class B fires involving flammable liquids such as petrol, diesel, oils, paints and solvents
- Class C fires involving flammable gases
- Selected fires involving energised electrical equipment, subject to the product instructions and applicable fire safety requirements

Operating Instructions
For a fire that can still be approached safely:
- Keep the extinguisher upright and move it toward a safe operating position.
- Uncoil the discharge hose fully.
- Remove the safety pin or safety clip.
- Hold the hose and nozzle securely.
- Direct the nozzle toward the base of the fire.
- Operate the control lever to release the extinguishing powder.
- Apply the powder using a controlled sweeping motion until the fire is extinguished.
This large-capacity extinguisher should preferably be operated by trained personnel. It should only be used when a clear escape route remains available. Evacuate the area and contact the emergency services when the fire is spreading rapidly, producing heavy smoke or cannot be controlled safely.
Placement and Accessibility
The extinguisher should be positioned in a clearly visible, properly marked and unobstructed location close to the identified fire-risk area. The trolley wheels, operating handle and discharge hose must remain accessible at all times.
Avoid placing the extinguisher behind stored materials, machinery or locked doors. The surrounding floor should remain clear so the unit can be moved quickly during an emergency.
Inspection and Maintenance
The pressure gauge should be checked regularly to confirm that the extinguisher remains within its recommended operating range. The cylinder, trolley frame, wheels, hose, nozzle, safety pin and operating lever should also be inspected for:
- Physical damage
- Corrosion or leakage
- Cracks or deterioration in the hose
- Blockage in the discharge nozzle
- Missing or damaged safety seals
- Loose fittings or damaged wheels
- Signs of previous use or tampering
Professional installation, routine inspection and scheduled servicing by a qualified fire safety technician are recommended. After any discharge, including partial use, the extinguisher must be professionally inspected, refilled and repressurised before being returned to service.
The required number and placement of wheeled extinguishers should be determined through a professional fire-risk assessment based on the size, layout and hazards of the premises.
